As City of Annapolis Ward 3 Alderwoman, here is a list of activities I have participated in, meetings I have attended, and events I have supported in the months of July and August 2025:


Note: Per the City Code, no City Council-related meetings are scheduled in August


National Night Out - August 5, 2025


  • Meeting with Kohl’s Management and Security Leadership, and the Annapolis Police Department Command Staff regarding an increasing number of thefts at the store

  • Visited the home of a recent gun violence victim

  • Chaired the City Council’s monthly Public Safety Standing Committee meeting where Ward 5 and Ward 7 were highlighted

  • Attended and participated in the monthly City Council’s Transportation Standing Committee meeting

  • Meeting with a Ward 6 resident

  • Meeting with the Bay Ridge Gardens community’s Community Coordinator

  • Attended and participated in 2 monthly City Council meetings

  • Attended and participated in 1 Closed Session of the City Council

  • Attended and participated in the Community Celebration, hosted by People Builders Consulting in partnership with HACA: Residents who have taken meaningful steps toward securing long-term housing security through Behavior Modification, at the Eastport Community Center

  • Attended and participated in a City Council Work Session

  • For over 3 years, continue to consistently attend and speak at the Promotional and Pinning Ceremony for an Annapolis Fire Department Firefighter Meeting with 2 members from the leadership of the future Providence Point senior housing community


Annapolis’ NO HARM Annual Community Service Resource Pop-Up Tour at Woodside Gardens

  • Attended and participated in “Annapolis’ NO HARM’s Annual Community Service Resource Pop-Up Tour”, Woodside Gardens community

  • Attended and participated in the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity’s Annual Community Cookout Planning Committee Meeting

  • Attended and participated in the 4-hour Homegoing Service for the late Rev. Louis Boston, First Baptist Church

  • Attended and participated in the Bywater Community’s Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Redistricting meeting, Bywater Boys & Girls Club


Ribbon-cutting Ceremony of Opening of the New Nonprofit Center at Crownsville Hospital Memorial Park

  • Joined Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman, and other federal, state, and local elected officials, nonprofit leaders, and community stakeholders for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the official opening of the new Nonprofit Center at Crownsville Hospital Memorial Park

  • Attended and participated in National Night Out, Bay Ridge Gardens

  • Attended and participated in National Night Out, Woodside Gardens

  • Attended and participated in National Night Out, Annapolis Gardens

  • Attended and participated in, including co-presenting the certificates of appreciation, to the City’s Summer Interns, City Hall

  • Attended and participated in the Woodside Gardens Community meeting, American Legion Post #141

  • Attended the “Stop the Gun Violence” Vigil, Woodside Gardens community

  • Meeting with 2 leadership members of the Serenity Sistas organization

  • Attended and participated in the “Awareness Gathering for Violence”, Annapolis Gardens community


3rd Annual Eta Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Community Cookout

at Chambers Park - August 23, 2025

  • Attended and participated in the 3rd Annual Alpha Phi Alpha’s Community Cookout in Chambers Park, including serving as a Judge for the Stroll Competition

  • Attended and participated in the “Awareness Gathering for Violence”, Bay Ridge Gardens community

  • Attended the Parole Community Block Party
