Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial Anniversary | December 9, 2024

I had the honor to attend the 25th Anniversary of the Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial. Here I am with Dr. Patsy Blackshear, President of the Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Foundation (organizers of the event), and Chanel C. Johnson, Executive Director of the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum, host of the reception.


Germantown Elementary School's Annual Winter Concert | December 12, 2024

My grandson, King, played the Bells at the Germantown Elementary School's Annual Winter Concert. The Grinch was there as well, but he didn't spoil a thing!


Celebrating Chief Joseph Johnson | December 21, 2024

Celebrating with Annapolis Police Chief, now retired, Joseph Johnson, the 30th anniversary of him being promoted and selected as the City of Annapolis' first African-American Police Chief.  Joined by Current and Former Elected officials Mayor Gavin Buckley, Mayor Ellen Moyer, Alderwoman Sheila Finlayson, Alderman Kenneth Kirby, Alderwoman Cynthia Abney Carter, Alderman Carl Snowden, County Councilman Daryl Jones, and me.  And close Friend and Businessman Mr. Dimitri Sfakiyanudis. 


Annapolis Gardens Holiday Party | December 21, 2024

Annual Annapolis Gardens Holiday Christmas Party, hosted by "Meet the Brown's" and Family, patriarch Mr. Raynaldo "Duce" Brown, along with his "Elves", Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Melondie Holmes (Winnco Management), Deni Henson (Hoppy Adams Foundation) and Mom, Reggie Broddie (Annapolis Trust), Churches, Phil Colbert, Debbie Odum (Ward 3 Community Liaison, and Annapolis Gardens Resident Council President) and many, many residents, children, family, and friends.  And I just enjoyed watching the children and youth pick out their gifts.
