Alderwoman Rhonda Pindell Charles sits at the head of a conference table at the Parole Health Center on Drew Street on chilly, but sunny, day. She opens up a dark binder and slides a resume across the table.

Pindell Charles, who launched her mayoral campaign last week at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church on Bestgate Road, did this before being asked, “Why do you want to run for mayor of Annapolis?”

In February, Pindell Charles said that after a period of reflection, now was the time to vie for the top spot.
